On Saturday, Emma and I decided to head downtown for a cup of coffee at the cute café ‘The Turl Street kitchen’ which is unsurprisingly located on Turl Street- a permanently student surrounded area. Then later on, we popped by ‘New College’, which is situated nearby the ‘Bridge of Sights’ and the Sheldonian Theatre which are all stunning locations for bloggers to shoot but also worth going to for sight seeing. These areas are full of historic backgrounds that are beautifully enticing to hear about and see.
The few jewellery pieces I have styled in this shot are from the lovely ‘Lyla Loves’, my favourite collection being the blue hydra one which includes all the stunning pieces on me that day.
I absolutely adore the smart layering device the necklace incorporates, which my friend Emma complimented on. The marbled effect of the bead in the centre of the necklace is a beautiful touch, done with care, which also gives a little Nordic touch I do believe. Furthermore the cracks in the marbled stone remind me off the bricked walls as you walk down the streets of Oxford, which is always a bonus.
The delicate and adorable bracelets are also a part of the blue hydra collection, which I styled with the lovely necklace to give a cool tone to this outfit- fitting the scenery too! My camel toned scarf and the red hair scrunchie (also from Lyla Loves), adds some warmth that contrasts the dark night sky and the midnight blue sweater.
As we walked back down the streets we had previously crossed pass, we did a tad bit of shopping, as it was the Black Friday sale- the one no one seems to be able to avoid as we were enticed rapidly by the warmth of the shop windows.
And that’s a wrap as I bid farewell till my next post!
